Them Crooked Vultures UK Debut
The Dave Grohl, Josh Homme and John Paul Jones supergroup, Them Crooked Vulures, made their UK debut last night, supporting the Arctic Monkeys in Brixton.
The band played an early support slot for the indie rockers, firing through a set made up entirely of material from their, presumably, forthcoming album.
Rumours abound that the band will appear at Reading and/or Leeds Festivals this weekend, although their policy of one gig per country thus far may scupper that idea.
By all accounts the music veers towards the heavier end of Led Zeppelin with more than a hint of Queens Of The Stone Age thrown in.
